Ok - so I know I'm a little behind on posting. Things have been really busy for us lately. A new year has begun and so far it's been great! My sweet little man has turned 6 months, started a new class at daycare, and work is gearing up for a busy semester. Barrett turned 6 months on Jan. 3rd. I can't believe it! It seems like it was just yesterday Stephen and I were coming home from the hospital and now he is a half year old??? Really?! I wish time would slow down just a little. At his 6 month checkup Barrett weighed 20.8 pounds (90 percentile), 27 1/4 inches long (50-75 percentile). He is now getting on all fours constantly and rocking so I'm expecting anyday he'll be following me everywhere. :) Here are a few of his 6 month pictures.
Barrett started a new class at daycare and we LOVE it!! This class goes from 6 months - 1 year old. I love the teachers, I love that he is learning different things and they are even starting to learn sign language! I can already tell he is learning from watching the older kids in there. I hate not being with Barrett during the day so it is so great to not worry about him and no that they are taking good care of him! We are working on drinking from a sippy cup. He has got the holding part down but having a hard time understanding he needs to tilt it up to get the water/juice. It will come though.
Barrett has been very sick lately starting with fever, then croup, then RSV staying out of daycare for almost 2 weeks. I took him to MedDirect on a Sunday morning where we got our first breathing treatment. We then made FREQUENT trips to the doctor and received several more breathing treatments and finally on last Friday they sent us home with our very own machine to do them at home when he needs them. He is not very fond of the treatments and really it turns into a battle between mommy and Barrett so we can atleast get half of the medicine in him. He is doing much better now.

This was at the doctors office right before he had a meltdown
and let everyone in the whole place know he was not happy!

We are now down to trying to only do breathing treatments at night.
He was so tired here he slept through the whole treatment.
We had baby dedication at Church on Jan 23rd. I dressed Barrett up in this cute little Feltman Brothers oufit and if I must say he was so HANDSOME! I pray that Stephen and I raise Barrett to be a strong Christian man that is not a follower but a leader just like his daddy.
Now that is a cutie!
Our little family!
Work is super busy right now. Seems like January brings everyone to rush to get everything done before the end of the semester and fiscal year. But I love it. I love the people I work with and what I do. I am so blessed to have my job and one that I love.
Well that's all for now. I'll try to post sooner than later. :)
